Mix only as much of the mixture as you will consume in the next few days or weeks. Not a 'supply for the whole season'.

Refueling: safety first

Gasoline is flammable. Turn off the engine completely and let it cool. Refuel in a ventilated area, do not smoke, and stay away from fire. Before a long break, if using a personal mixture, pour the mixture into a canister if possible, then outside or in a well-ventilated area, away from fire and sparks, let the machine run at idle until the fuel system is dry and the engine stops.
